Mood rectangular two and a half by ten

Confine my soul and only when

Across rivulets of drizzling drops

A lone ladybird loiters then pops

Through streaming tears of racing rain

I look, watch and hopeful pray

she’ll make it up this wet gray day

Copious cups of hot tea

Invigorate my body make me see

We alone travelĀ  two together

Against the storm despite the weather

Up she goes to the top

Her wings they flutter then stop

Here she waits and pauses still

This dancing ladybird upon my sill
